A journal that answers back
Most journals are write-only. You pour something in, close the app, and it sits there. KNOW ME - SHOW ME keeps your writing private, then lets you ASK it questions — and answers using your own words first.
Every ASK mode ties an outside source back to a specific entry in your vault. You always see which entry grounded the answer, and every quote, artwork, book passage, or study is attributed with a citation.
The ASK modes
ASK MYSELF searches your own vault. ASK A BOOK draws from 1,950+ public-domain classics. ASK A PODCAST works across 35 indexed shows and 7,400+ episodes, searchable by host, guest or topic. ASK GREAT MINDS ranks 126,000+ attributed quotes (comedians included) and can stage a debate between two thinkers or show who from history would understand you. ASK GREAT ART surfaces 6,100+ public-domain works with interpretation. ASK RESEARCH summarises published papers with links.
Whichever mode you use, the answer takes the same shape: the point of your question and linked entry, one overall answer, then ranked sources each explaining why they apply, expandable for the full analysis. Answers arrive numbered, repeat the question, and name any customisation you chose.
ASK A FRIEND reaches a friend's public vault of journal entries — never their private ones.
Built for the long run
FUTURE LETTERS lets you write to someone for a date years away. The inheritance system names a digital executor who can receive your vault — minus anything you filed as PRIVATE.
